Personally on the weekends and I have a quite and relaxing morning I love to read through some cooking magazines. When I get a new one in the mail during the week it is something that I always look forward to during the weekend. Do I always find something.... no, but it almost without a doubt inspires me to get into the kitchen and whip an old favorite up or something completely new. Below are a list of some of my go to food magazines, either buy a copy or subscribe for a year you can't go wrong. Enjoy the reading and happy!!!

elcome to engineered cooking. I originally started this site as a way to keep all of my recipes that I have come across throughout my journey of cooking in one central location. It then morphed into a place that I would send friends and family after a meal that we would share around the dinner table (so they too could cook for their family and loved ones). And currently I have transformed the site into a place where I hope any level of home cook or chef can come to be inspired to get into the kitchen and cook something amazing for themselves or their loved ones.

A brief introduction to the web-site: throughout the website you will find a culmination of personal recipes I have created during my time as a chef, amazing recipes that have been found in cookbooks, magazines, and websites, and what I like reference the perfected recipes where I have adjusted recipes, combined recipes, and/or both adjusted and combined recipes. While creating this site the aim was to provide people with healthy options for lunches and dinners utilizing fresh ingredients that are available at most grocery stores. Each
The recipes found throughout the site are labeled with the time and level of difficulty they initial, allowing you to select on how much time and level of effort you might have left over after a long day at work or at school. To further aid in making the dreaded selection of "what should we have for dinner tonight/this week" a bit easier the section of the weekly dinner menu below outlines what I will be making each day for dinner. Choose to follow along throughout the week, pick one or two, or find something else on the site entirely. Enjoy the website and more so the food that you will create!
